Spray-on Bedliner
Frontier's available spray-on bedliner¹ adds to the incredible versatility of the bed. It is applied right at the factory, and consists of a rugged non-skid surface that adheres directly to the bed to help prevent rusting. Unlike some aftermarket spray-ons, Frontier's bedliner is UV-resistant to help prevent chalking or fading.

Util-Track™ System
The innovative Utili-Track™ Cargo Channel System¹, first introduced in the full-size Titan, functions like no other. No matter what type of cargo you're carrying, this available system is fully equipped to help keep it secured tightly. Five channels run the length and width of the bed: Two channels on the floor, one channel on each sidewall, and one channel along the header. 4.0-litre 261 HP V6 Engine

Ground Clearance
Frontier can take on almost any boulder-paved road, because all underbody components are tucked up above the frame level to help protect them from damage. This includes a rear suspension designed with the leaf springs over – instead of under – the rear axle. The end result is up to an incredible 226 mm (8.9") minimum running ground clearance¹, with up to 32.6° angle of approach and up to 23.3° angle of departure.

Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC)
Stay on your steered path with the help of Frontier's available Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC)¹. If your vehicle begins to oversteer (fishtail) or understeer (plow forward), this advanced system can reduce engine output and/or apply appropriate brake pressure to specific wheels to help maintain control.

Electronic Locking Rear Differential
Electronic Locking Rear Differential Blaze through uneven terrain without getting stuck. When 4x4 mode just isn't enough, flip the switch on NISMO Frontier models to activate the electronic locking rear differential. This ultimate off-road feature delivers equal power to both rear wheels to boost traction and help keep your truck moving forward. When engaged, it actually works in conjunction with the 4-wheel Limited Slip (ABLS)¹. So while the electronic locking rear differential keeps the rear wheels powered to move you ahead, ABLS gives you the traction you need up front to maintain steering control.

4-Wheel Active Break Limited Slip (ABLS)
In most situations, a spinning wheel is a bad thing. That's why Frontier 4x4s offer 4-wheel Limited Slip (ABLS)¹. The system senses a spinning drive wheel(s), then automatically applies the brakes to the spinning wheel(s) and directs power to the wheel(s) with the best traction. (4x2 models offer 2-wheel Limited Slip.) Throw on the NISMO Frontier's massive 265/75R16 BFGoodrich® Rugged Trail T/A® tires to help enhance grip even more.

4-Wheel Drive shift on the fly
Grab Frontier's highly capable 4-Wheel Drive system features shift-on- the-fly 4WD, which lets you shift between 2WD and 4WD with the switch of a dial at speeds up to 100 km/h (60 mph). This system also features 4-LO, which has an exceptional crawl ratio for your impending low-speed journeys.

Hill Start Assist (HSA)
When starting on steep hills from a stop, Hill Start Assist¹ will help keep you from rolling backwards. It holds brake pressure for a few seconds, allowing you enough time to switch from the brake pedal to the accelerator

Nissan Advanced Airbag System
Five-star accommodations. Frontier features the Nissan Advanced Airbag System (AABS) that includes dual-stage supplemental front airbags¹ with seat belt sensors and an occupant-classification sensor. The inflation rate of these dual-stage airbags adjusts depending on crash severity and seat belt usage. If the front passenger seat is empty, a sensor will deactivate the airbag.

¹ Please keep in mind that airbags are a supplemental restraint system and must always be used in conjunction with a seat belt. Even with the occupant-classification sensor, a rear-facing child restraint should not be placed in the frontpassenger's seat. Also, in addition to any other requirement of applicable law, all children 12 and under should ride in the rear seat properly secured in child restraints, booster seats, or seat belts according to their size. Roof-mounted Curtain Supplemental Airbags
Frontier's advanced safety technology includes roof-mounted curtain supplemental airbags* for side impact and rollover protection, along with a Rollover Sensor system. When it detects an impending rollover, the system deploys the roof-mounted curtain supplemental airbags. These airbags remain inflated long enough to help provide protection in the event of multiple rolls.
