Towing Capacity
Towing is one job Titan does better than anyone else – on flat highway stretches or steep hills. But then, what do you expect with a maximum towing capacity of up to 9,500 lbs (4,309 kg), you can tow just about anything and fear nothing, even on the inclines. Titan has towing in its blood, or at least in its 385 lb-ft of never-say-quit torque. And when mated with a 5-speed automatic transmission, you have the most get-up-and-go of any half-ton. 4-Wheel Drive System

Advanced Braking Technologies
Assume maximum control with Titan’s three powerful braking technologies. Brake Assist senses emergency braking and – if you’re not braking hard enough – will help increase braking force. Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), on the other hand, rapidly pumps the brakes during hard braking, to help keep your wheels from locking and allowing you to steer around obstacles. What’s more, all models feature large disc brakes and a G-sensor that reads the terrain, so the ABS can adjust to road, dirt, gravel, or snow conditions. |

Vehicle Dynamic Control

Nissan Advanced Airbag System (AABS)
Includes dual-stage supplemental front airbags* with seat belt sensors and an occupant-classification sensor. The inflation rate of these dual-stage airbags adjusts depending on crash severity and seat belt usage. If the front-passenger´s seat is empty, a sensor will deactivate the airbag.
*Airbags are only a supplemental restraint system; always wear your seat belt. Even with the occupant-classification sensor, rear-facing child restraints should not be placed in the front passenger´s seat. Also, in addition to any other requirement of applicable law, all children 12 and under should ride in the rear seat properly secured in child restraints, booster seats, or seat belts according to their size. Roof-Mounted Curtain Airbags

The standard Nissan Immobilizer Key System makes it more difficult for anyone to steal your truck without your actual key. A microchip inside the key sends a signal telling the engine to start. Without the key, the chip, and the signal, your Titan won't start. |
